Allow Crops to Root Down for Better Nutrient Uptake

In many areas of the Midwest, there has been so much moisture in the upper soil profile that plant roots have been shallower than normal, often staying in the top two feet of soil. Despite the slow start, our 2010 crops look pretty good and things are progressing nicely!

For that reason we cannot wait to show them off to you.  The annual Farmers Ranchers Corn Hybrid Tour will be on Thursday, September 2nd at 5:30 p.m.  The location of this plot has not changed and is 3 miles north of Farmers Ranchers Agronomy Center on Bejot Farms' Kelly Pivot.

However, we are not only testing hybrids in this plot!!  We also are trying out Winfield Solutions'® Ascend™ growth regulator seed treatment.  There has been a lot of exciting new information given to J.P. and Katie this year, and they cannot wait to share it with you.  You definitely won't want to miss this tour!  We'll see you there!
